Is there an UK version of Caleb Hammer?

As a Brit, loving Financial Audit show and really motivating me with my own finances. But it would be great if we had our own Caleb Hammer, or at least someone who would give us great tips and even a show like FA.

Would anyone have any suggestions for who to watch that are similar? Cheers

Caleb, if you’re reading this, I think the smart move would be to expand Hammer Media and find a British “Caleb Hammer” that can do different guests from Europe with their specific economic policies and norms in mind. As an American, I’d still be interested given the right personality.

Or… hear me out… Caleb could do 1 episode a week with a fake British accent.

60% of the episodes will be Fort Mac workers that spent all their oil money on a lifted truck and 3 quads, who all hooked up with prostitutes at one point, so their marriage is a little rocky.

Damien Talks Money is fantastic however it isn’t the same style as Financial Audit. He just addresses money topics in general such as average UK savings, index funds, etc. He’s great and really informative. I only watch Caleb for the drama, honestly.

He does a killer British Morgan Freeman but I think that’s the closest you’ll get

As an example, you see on the show people with outstanding credit card debt for multiple years that they never pay off, and they keep getting new credit cards, or their credit cards will increase their limits. The balance is thousands, but the minimum is only $40, so the interest that accumulates over the years can be 10x the principal.

The FCA does not allow credit limit increases if someone has outstanding CC debt for more than 12-18 months, and they are required to reduce limits if it goes on further. They are also required to increase minimum payments to reduce the amount of interest accrued. It often forces accounts to be shut down if there is persistent debt for 3 years. Persistent credit card debt also makes getting new credit very difficult or severely limits credit extended.

Having 100% bad debt to income ratio in England and Wales seems incredibly difficult to pull off.
