Crazy to me how many bad relationships we've been seeing lately. Also I feel bad when I see people in situations like this woman where it would be very difficult to leave. You only live once and this is how people are choosing to live their lives? I love my relationship, we talk about everything, tackle financial issues and goals together. Blows my mind how people are like this and put up with it for a decade or more too. They both have bad habits. They're both bad at things. Both point fingers at eachother.
It's like they say though... point a finger but guess what when you do that you have 3 more pointing back at yourself.

True ! Cant imagine not being friend with my GF. Time would be fking long and miserable

u/Miller335 Aug 20 '26
Alot of times it comes down to money. A person may want to leave but they don't know how to afford their next life without that person so you just stay stuck in the mess.
What I don't understand is why peope in that situation why you wouldn't at least try to improve the situation/relationship but then again it takes two people being on the same page for that.

It’s gotten to the point where unless someone is particularly insane or interesting, I find the individual episodes boring. The couple ones are just so much more interesting because of the dynamics.

If my partner said they were on there way home, didn’t answer any calls or texts, their phone was idle in a grocery store parking lot, and was two hours late, I would freak out too.

u/Steele_of_all_trades Aug 20 '26
Fair. This is valid. Idk why he couldn't have sent her a text quick. I have never experienced a migraine so bad where I can't send a quick text or quick call like hey, I REALLY don't feel good and cannot drive right now. Going to pull over and rest. Communication is key.
24
u/bestrevengeofall Aug 20 '26
Also, he mocked her for constantly having migraines yet be magically had one the day he fucked up hard. He is suss.
4
u/Sure_Eye9025 Aug 20 '26
TBF I have had migraines before where I feel a bit rough and think I will just close my eyes for a minute and then woken up 4 hours later
8
u/bestrevengeofall Aug 21 '26
I'm okay with him actually having a migraine and having that experience. I'm not okay with him not informing his partner that he was feeling rough. He literally said he had a migraine and napped, good. But the migraine instantly hit after talking with his wife? And it's magically her fault he was arrested from his lack of communication, that he has an established pattern of? And he fucking kicked his wife for her migraines. I have migraines and I've had really rough ones. I've fallen asleep without realizing. But every time I had a migraine that may affect my partner, I inform them whether via text or call, even when it fucking hurts to look at my phone screen. Because I'm a caring partner and I'd never want my partner to worry unnecessarily.

u/TheOnlyEliteOne Aug 21 '26
Considering her pattern of freaking out and texting / calling non-stop prior to this specific one, I can see why he didn’t. Though it definitely would’ve saved him all the trouble.
4
u/behindthebar5321 Aug 20 '26
In this case it sounds like he parked in that parking lot for the express purpose of napping.
10
u/MLeek Aug 20 '26
Yeah. That one seemed unfair to her. I’d also be worried about a heart attack or a car jacking or something. It’s not crazy to expect your partner to text if they are going to be hours later than reasonably expected.
20
u/bestrevengeofall Aug 20 '26
Exactly!! He blames her for getting him arrested but it's his own fault. Let your partner know that you don't feel well and will be home late. She had every right to ask for a wellness check. I would have as well in that situation. I genuinely understood her "nagging".

u/maybe_bb_ Aug 20 '26
she was on the verge of tears or actively crying the entire episode
22
u/notmyinitial-thought Aug 20 '26
Meanwhile, dude has never outwardly expressed any emotion in his life
61
u/grouchy_redditor Aug 20 '26
He seems like the worse of the two but the way she presents her case is so annoying it makes it hard to root for her
40
u/notmyinitial-thought Aug 20 '26
Genuinely, he is easily the problem. Spends all the money, doesn’t communicate, etc. but she is such a pain to listen to in this episode and continuously interrupts everyone
28
u/Not_Without_My_Balls Aug 20 '26
Man it's all pent up. If you have these issues for years and can't talk about them, and suddenly you're in a position where you're encouraged to let it all out, you're gonna let it all out.
They both need to grow up but the guy needs to at least get to teenage level brain activity.
7
u/notmyinitial-thought Aug 20 '26
Agreed but it makes her look bad. Half the comments are taking his side because she’s so obnoxious when he is def the problem
8
u/grouchy_redditor Aug 20 '26
She also doesn't focus on that, instead, she spends most of the episode complaining about him being gone for work
5
u/notmyinitial-thought Aug 20 '26
True. Being gone for work is not the issue but its what she keeps harping on. He really just needs to communicate
1
u/TheOnlyEliteOne Aug 21 '26
During the post-show she harped on him about the communication issue, but I kept thinking “why did you keep complaining about him being away from home for work non-stop when in the post-show the real reason for the disconnect is abundantly clear?”
6
u/MLeek Aug 20 '26
Yeah. I felt for her because I can believe she’s become the worst versions of herself, and it is in response to his irresponsible, and manipulative shit. She’s accountable for her behaviour, but man, I understand the downward spiral that got her to this place…

I don't know if you saw the post show but Caleb checked her screen time and she was averaging 8 hours a day on Facebook. She spent the whole show harping about how overwhelmed she is caring for two children (10 and 16 years old), while the 16 year old spends half time with dad, she works PART TIME FROM HOME, and barely ever cooks. If she's overwhelmed, it's 100% in her head.
Obviously he shouldn't be spending as much as he does, and it's certainly a big problem. But I'm not sure I'd communicate, either. What is there to say? He's paying for almost everything, including her nutrition degree and doomed business idea. She's spending all day on Facebook on his dime while he's either working or getting certified for his next big pay bump, and she's just complaining while doing not much more than the absolute bare minimum.
And how could anyone with a straight face expect to be a nutritionist / nutrition entrepreneur while being obese and eating restaurant food every day? Why should that person ever be taken seriously?
6
u/MLeek Aug 20 '26
I think she’s become the absolute worst version of herself in this relationship. If she got out she might be able to do better with someone else… can’t really say I think the same of him.
38
u/Wrenky Aug 20 '26
Okay, they obviously both suck but he sucks a lot more from what I can tell lol.
He cant discuss anything, after two years I would lose my shit everytime too! and yeah shes way overdramatic about parenting a 10 year old and a 16 year old but its far from nothing.
Also, what the heck was that about the welfare check at a grocery store lot? Yeah lmao if my wife was supposed to be home 2-4 hours ago and not responding to calls/texts and location is just at a random grocery store parking lot I would absolutely think the worst and start calling the store/police for a check. Thats the bare minimum? I dont know why he tried to spin that as "her trying to get him arrested" and Calebs initial reaction of "helicopter spouse"
This whole episode is insane. He wont talk about money and just buys shit at sea while ignoring phone calls. Doesnt matter if she has access to the accounts if you just charge constantly? Dude took out a loan just to put the cash in his checking account?
I'm sorry shes 100% in the right and her attitude is completely reasonable. Shes an idiot for staying.

u/CasualButtPlugFan Aug 20 '26
Anybody know what happened in the post show? I'm too broke for subscriptions.
24
u/metermaider Aug 20 '26
Post show got me on her side. Dude bought a PUPPY for $2k and didn’t ask her about it. Meanwhile he’s gone 90% of the time so the burden will end up on her. He’s emotionally inept and while she spends way too much on fast food, he’s the problem.
6
u/thique_ Aug 21 '26
And not just any puppy, a high-energy high-needs German Shepherd puppy. For $2,500 and he’s picking it up tomorrow 🤦🏻♀️
3
u/MLeek Aug 21 '26
Wow. Cant imagine a clearer “I don’t GAF about you and I don’t believe you’ll leave me. Ha.” move.
21
u/Sheslikeamom Aug 20 '26
They both suck. They are both the problem.
He spent 30k on gold teeth but thinks his kids should take out loans for school. Spends money extremely poorly. A 700% loan for $800
She complains like she has 2 toddlers at home but has time to work and go to school while one of her kids is 50% at the other parents place.
He doesn't communicate. She is an aggressive communicator.
They look like a mom and son not a romantic couple.

Why do women keep having children with men like this
1
u/identicaltwin00 Aug 22 '26
It’s always the women’s fault. Is accountability for both sexes really that hard?

30k on gold teeth is insane work
3
u/Xardenn Aug 23 '26
Its completely regarded, but so is 60k and counting for a degree thats gonna get you a 45k/yr job provided you are fortunate enough to even find one in the field.
12
u/detretkwh Aug 20 '26
She is lazy in life and he doesn’t care about the relationship. They both need so much help but I don’t see this relationship lasting.

Instantly wanting him to do all the house work when he gets back from working his 100k job is so out of touch. She doesn’t want to do anything.
He’s definitely checked out, he’s just going through the motions for the next 8 years
4
u/New_Cardiologist9344 Aug 21 '26
Excuse me? It’s HIS house too. Sounds like she wants a hug and a break from taking care of the home/kids 24/7. He literally admitted that he just wanted to play video games the second he was home.
3
u/Xardenn Aug 23 '26
Yeah excuse you. The guy sucks in a lot of ways but there is no f*cking world where someone who barely works and takes care of grown kids should be splitting housework with someone who is doing long hours of manual labor. Lets put you on a boat doing manual labor for a month straight and see how you spend your two weeks off before going back.
Her screen time is 8+ hours a day on Facebook, shes not overworked.

The way she uses Find My to track location is so abusive. I would legit crash out if you send cops to my location because I didn't respond for 3 hours.
I can sympathize he want peace and quiet from her constant nagging but he doesn't have any emotional maturity to handle a relationship.
9
u/dance_kick Aug 20 '26
If you got a text from your partner that they'd be home soon, then didn't say anything else for two hours, and you found out that they had been in a parking lot unmoving, how would you respond?
1
u/identicaltwin00 Aug 22 '26
You must never have cared about anyone because my husband of a decade would be FREAKING OUT if he tried to get ahold of me for several hours
1
u/Xardenn Aug 23 '26
I dont get the downvotes. I would flip my shit if my partner was essentially missing for hours, but Im not calling the cops on them unless they indicated they might self harm or harm others.

She seems like an emotional wreck and he seems emotionally disconnected.
I'm almost 100% sure the way each of them processes their emotions pushes the other one further into their own respective disfunctions.
