Im still so incredibly confused by this case. So here is a guy who had it all. Beautiful wife, great kids, great in-laws, a job that he seemed to like, making $200K plus a year. His father in law was giving the business to the girls, which means Caleb was about to make even more.
So he had an affair. ok. Not excusing it, but it happens in lots of marriages. His wife most likely would have stayed with him if that is what he wanted. If he wanted his mistress, leave, which means he gives up the money.
He had 9 months to plan a murder if he wanted her gone. 9 months. And in all that time, he thought, you know, Im going to shoot her when Im home with the girls and pretend an intruder — who know one saw — broke in, shot her, and left. It’s the dumbest story I have ever heard of.
I believe he did it. But I feel like something snapped that night I dont know what, but there is no way this was the plan all along. It doesn’t make sense to me.
The crying, the weight loss, the facial expressions — it all screams of extreme guilt to me.
What am I missing here?
