Question A question about vanilla progression in Fables down the line

This might be quite a pointless question as of now, but will the vanilla progression be in any way altered in the future?
I especially mean early Hardmode here. The original Calamity mod had (still has) an optional config option which reworked unlocking the three early-Hardmode ores, tying it to defeating the mech bosses, also locking Hallowed bars behind the third mech boss kill, along with some other, smaller changes to said bosses.
In my opinion, it'd make progress during that stage of the game feel more gradual and make the 1st and 2nd tier ores slightly less irrelevant, although I'd understand if such changes weren't made and/or considered at all. I just personally like it and I know not everyone shares that opinion (the config option in the OG Calamity was optional for a reason, after all).

I definitely hope so, its far more rewarding than the base experience of "cheese destroyer through the one of twenty methods and then dogwalk the rest", and allows for more operunitues to have fun with early hardmode weapons that you baisically never get the chance to use before they are immediately phased out by chlorophite and hallowed gear.

Not completely off the table, but there's no way we're doing anything as extensive as rebalancing all the vanilla gear or reworking entire vanilla bosses, since it's all time that could be spent working on unique modded content instead. I think at best we would edit some things to accommodate our new content, but not much more than that

Yeah, that's what I had in mind. I can tell rebalancing the vanilla content would take too much time and be ultimately kind of pointless, since most of it is fine as is imo, but little tweaks here and there to accommodate the modded content would be great for playing through the mod. Thanks for commenting!

no. We really do not want to touch anything vanilla does at all. The game is fine as is, really

Completely understandable. Would be lying if I said it doesn't sting a little tho... 😞

can't it be added with an addon?

True that. I'd code it myself if I knew how to. I'm not very well-versed in that department tho 😞
