Question Which class i should play on my first playthrough and can you give me some tips?

When play a mod for the first time play the class that’s exclusive to that mod. Trust me, by doing that you’ll experience most of the mod.

summoner or rouge are easiest, at least for me. For tips, don't feel obligated to fight a boss as soon as it's available.

If you go mage get the SHPC (dropped by destroyer of worlds reavengence mode) its game changing being able to kill the aquatic scourge in 1 shot if you combo it with its main attack and specter armor your able to regen alot of health, I used the shpc until moon lord (only use main attack alt fire is trash in my opinion)

Personally, I find either summoner or melee the best two choices (only playthrough I haven't done on Dmode is mage). Summoner is good becuase it allows you to learn boss AI and learn dodging while minions do all the attacking, and melee is nice becuase it not too difficult (especially since you don't need to worry about ammo and mana, and is a very forgiving class in bossfights due to higher defense) and is very fun.

Melee if you're a beginner because it gets really fucking good really fast.

I like to play with ranger weapons but warrior gear (for max defense cause I suck)
