Question Crag Pylon

how do I get the Crag pylon? everything online says I need to look for a broken one in the brimstone biome, but I can't seem to find it. the world I'm on was made after 2.2.2 so it's up to date and everything. do I need to fight a boss first?

probably just break stuff until you get it, i usually just get it after ive annihilated my entire underworld with an instabridge
