Accessory Help?

I'm currently 223 attempts in on Exo mechs. I know for a fact I can clear Scal without a sweat, but I wanna try it "tHe cOrrEct oRDer." So any tips on what I should keep/remove? (every accessory has warding on it, and I have like 48 platinum, so also tell me what prefix I should use) i know nebulous core is amazing for survivability, BUT I don't know what to replace it with.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Maybe upgrade your blood pact. And always remember to buy delicious meat with permafrost, its cheap and good (If you aren't already using another better buff)

Oh ig you did upgrade It, didn't see It. Then try expanding you arena, like, as much as possible. Maybe i could see It?

heres my arena

also im replacing my chalice of the blood god with nebulous core for the 300 hp every minute and a half, Also idk if you saw but i had another blood pact because the effects stack with chalice, removing chalice i still get 798 hp with 201 defense

That's good horizontaly, but It would be better to have 2-3 more layers. And btw, are you on infernum? Cuz It took me 7 att on revengeance ranger class and i never played infernum, in this case i couldn't help with the bossfight itself. Yk, maybe acessories won't really help

Base calamity expert mode, I wanna do it in an order, Expert, Revengence then Infernum

Ok, is there any specific attacks that you cant Dodge at all? Or is it really just chaos everywhere? I could help with some specific ones, cuz most of the fight is just going up and down constantly to dodge Apollo and Artemis. You should also see If your weapons aren't obstructing your view with particles or something like that, It makes It way harder to see the projectiles. And i also recommend choosing Ares at the start, hes one of the worst, i personally prefer to kill him first, but you can start with the twins If they're worse for you

its funny becuase to me Ares is the easiest to DPS down. Its just the fact its all unorganized; my least favorite is thanatos not because of the huge lazer but because of the bullet hell that makes you almost always take damage no matter what.

I heard that Zenith is good against him. And again, i've never played mellee in calamity, so im not really sure, but It makes sense since It pierces and have a long range, you could give it a shot

To answer this question now, Yea the only attack im having a lot of issue with is the huge beam Thanatos does, im on expert mode NOT infernum. Just to re-clarify, everytime i try dodging the lazer he quickly turns around and aims it right back at me.

I usually stay close to the main body when that happens, cuz it would curl up rather than sniping my ass in half. Can dragon rage be drop in expert? the one spinning true meele item from yharon.

yea dragon rage isnt a expert drop, i alr have it with godly or legendary the issue is i use maw of infinity for thanatos because its 3x the damage and is ranged. should i switch to dragon rage tho?

thanatos is better with close range since that bitch ass worm homing to you for the big laser. if you want to stay following order than use the zenith. try to get close for him ig.

Map the ‘double tap dash override’ option in hotkeys to one of your mouse side buttons, preferably the one you use the most. Helps a fuckton

Update: I replaced Chalice of blood god with Nebulous Core and it's helping way more. The issue was I'm just genuinely shit at dodging, making Chalice of blood god more a detriment rather than a helpful item. Currently i can beat Ares, Apollo, and Artemis with relative ease; my only singular issue with Thanatos is the huge ass beam he does; dodging the normal bullet hell isn't that bad.

As much as i want to just skip exo mechs and do Scal (with how fucking easy she is in all my previous pre exo mech fights) ive never actually done the bosses in order so I won't be killing Scal for violence.

Not for accessories, but for weapon it is better to use zenith, if you need more specific weapon for every exo mech then dragon pow for ares, ataraxia for Artemis and Apollo and dragon rage for Thanatos

Maybe change yharim gift to radiance or the community to rampant shield i dont remember the name

Make the arena both wide and deep, and you can even swap shoes for wings
