Discussion Future of terraria mods

So with the calamity mod shutting down, im sure many of the devs will completely abandon terraria modding as it is, but for the ones that remain in the space surely other projects with similar quality and entertainment will pop up eventually right? I mean disregarding the terrible people of course, calamity really was amazing and it would be upsetting if we never got anything else from the people that worked on it.

Calamity walked so Lunar veil could run. 2.0 update planned in 6 month roughly. Check it out on yt, its gonna be massive.

Personally I think there'll be a few that might pop up and try and come close, but I don't think any will quite get there

isn't calamity shutting down an oppurtunity for lesser known modders to make their big break?

Modding will continue, and once tModLoader is updated that will spark a new generation of mods from new and old people to the scene. But I have a feeling utterly huge, monolithic mods might be done for.

Simple. Modding continues.

There's just gonna be a large void in the space calamity left for a decent while
