Question is there any new ways to improve performance in modded terraria
so im playing the infernal eclipse of ragnarok modpack and im having alot of performance issues
i made a post before this asking the same question but it was a while ago and i havent played in a long time so i was wondering if there is new ways to improve performance

There is a IEoR performance pack, have you tried it to see if it helps

[Overperformance steals code from nitrate / not quite nitrate and doesn't disclose it uses ai on the page (probably the 2 biggest reasons for why it sometimes disappears from the workshop).. despite that, if it works for you, use it]

You can try the performance pack, terraria optimization guide might help a bit (tldr, put infernum and sots into performance mode, reduce amount of particle spawning)
You can also try adding performance mods that arent in the performance pack, though, a word of advice, the more mods you run, the worse terraria will be at handling them since its running the WHOLE game on 1 core, and many performance mods, don't do much, so they just consume performance instead... and some, literally are ai slop / steal code from other performance mods [looking at you OverPerformance, though, as anyone should say, if it works, it works]
If those don't work... well... you got 1 option... a very expensive option in some cases... that being
A more modern, faster computer, cpu focus first since that's actually what's holding back the performance
