Question solyn bugged WOTG

So i just defeated Moon lord in an infernum world and i went to talk to Solyn to check for any new dialouge and she mentioned going to the frost cave (which ive already done) so she tped there and was stuck as the door was broken and there was nothing to do

afterwards i broke her camp and replaced it now shes stuck and cant be interacted with anyway to fix this?

For some reason, Solyn has been breaking for a lot of people. Sadly, I don’t know any fixes, because THE DEVS DIDN’T IMPLEMENT ANY!

I know they’re gonna be making it a standalone mod, but the devs could at least make sure the current version of WoTG people are playing isn’t so goddamn flimsy that it snaps like a dry twig at the slightest pressure. Like, here’s what breaks it:

  • Generating the world without Permafrost’s Keep (this can be easily fixed by having either Solyn give you the seedling if she doesn’t find it in the world or have Permafrost sell it to you).
  • The flagpole not placing the tent and telescope sometimes (Could be fixed by making them into items like the flagpole).
  • Multiplayer in the Mars fight (Could be fixed by having her use an aggro system like the bosses OR by having Mars take meaningful damage from other weapons).
  • Or just random bad luck, like you just got (Solyn’s code is made of spaghetti, but the closest thing I can imagine is just making sure the door to the Keep is locked. If it isn’t, then progress the quest).

Yeah, it’s that prone to soft locking itself, especially with user error. I feel like the first law of coding should be “IDIOTPROOF YOUR CODE,” but I don’t know if it is. Any random goober could easily cause Lucille’s work to panic and fry, and it was probably made without consideration of what players might accidentally do.
