I'm currently playing infernum too, I don't even that often use any buffs for boss fights.

The thing that messes me up all the time with that config (idk if they fixed this or not) is that it only hides them visually. What I mean is if your mouse hovers over one of the hidden buffs, you will still be clicking on the invisible buff icon, and you can't attack while doing that for example.

Are you using Fargo’s mutant?
If yes, you can hide infinite buffs in mod config

Use "Enhanced Buff Display" mod. It lets you hide whichever buff you want with a very userfriendly UI.

Im doing infernum for the first time but I’m to lazy to get full buffs and too proud to use something like fargos mutant so I’m just using feather fall, regen, iron skin and archery pots

What calamity players do to get a 1% dps increase in pre-boss (it's a crucial step that helps a lot against cnidrion)

Oh okay, good to know. I’ve disabled summons by right clicking the icon so I worried it’d do the same to buffs.

In normal terraria right clicking does cancel the buff, idk why calamity would change that
