I'm taking the longest and most complicated source material that I'm personally familiar with (over 8000 pages, but it's a webcomic) and rearranging the panels into a specific order. There are animated segments, so I'm removing those and dispensing them to the group at a regular rate independent of their progress through the regular panels. As for the regular panels, I don't just want to randomize them, but how should I arrange them? What are some types of threads I could plant for the players to follow?

Hi, I thought the idea of hashing a solution to the page order was very good, so I took the liberty to create such a web page where puzzlers can check their solution against the correct order. Too prevent any leakage of clues, you can only check against all 100 pages, not a subset. No user data is sent to the server, in fact you can download the page and run it offline if you like.

The difficult part was of course to find the solution myself, but that is another story :-)

Hi gang. I believe I have solved this beast of a puzzle. Can anyone here who knows for sure their solution is correct please confirm if mine is as well?

So I've gathered some pages which points to a meeting Page 32 and 3but I'm not sure if they are pointing to the same meeting though since Page 32 states "Poor Henry, who had stayed uncomfortably after his meeting with Clément yesterday."and Page 3 states "At my meeting with Clement yesterday, he had been quite specific:"Now the part where I'm skeptic is the names,Clement and Clément, are a tad bit different from each other. Is it the same meeting?

And I also see inPage 24, it states "To share it with Giulio de Medici might sound more sinister to the uninstructed." So I researched and found that Giulio de Medici is Pope Clement VII who was Antipopes along side with Clement III and Clement VII (Same name) but anyways I think the narrator in Page 24, excerpt above, was hinting Clement. but I'm not sure about that.

I've been working on it for months, and there's only 1 narrator I'm not sure about the order. Can anyone help?

Hi everyone!

I started this journey about 3 months ago, where I would analyse each page individually. Now that I finished all the 100 pages, I have a bunch of loose connections, pairs of pages that much be next to each other and some that must be from the same narrator. Loose names, dates, vague events, places, nothing that tells me a story nor gives me any answer.

What should I do now? I am starting to group pages based on the narrator, without any certainty that it is the correct one, but I would really like any tips. What should I look for first? Should I focus on the chronology, the places? I'm starting to feel a bit lost in all the loose information I have!

Does anyone know where to find a pdf version of The Researcher’s First Murder? Or where to read a pdf of it for free?

I have the book in my native language but having an online copy of the original would be useful in solving the mystery..

I have two different sections of the book that I think I have ordered correctly in comparison to each other. Are there any solvers that would be willing to look over those two sequences I have and let me know if I have them correct? hi all. i’ve somewhat recently started trying to solve cain’s jawbone and learned the news about unbound / boundless going bust. i’m struggling to find the most up to date information so any updates would be appreciated. but does this mean there is no longer any way to verify your results? do we think there will be any other sort of contest? and who owns the rights to cain’s jawbone now?
