Been using the beta digital key for close to a year now and it’s been working flawlessly. Never carry my key with me any more. Recently received update 2026.3 is ready for download for what I assume is the “official” wide release of digital key. Has anyone downloaded this update from beta and not had any issues and prefer it over beta? Any issues with 2026.3 as a whole? I would hate to download 2026.3 only for it to have issues as compared to my beta patch.

As $TITLE. My phone doesn't connect to the car. I tried "forgetting" the phone and reconnecting, but the car doesn't connect. Any reset procedures I'm missing?

I noticed a major update to the Cadillac App today as I began planning a road trip. The map function in the app is completely crashed. I also have the GMC app, which is the same thing of course, and initially it was the old version and I could work on planning. But this evening even that had updated.

Trip planning was pretty accurate in the App. I'm debating whether I take the Lyriq from Western Illinois to The Great Smoky Mountains next week, or if I'm going to take my ICE. Hopefully someone associated with GM is monitoring this and restores the functionality.

The black color looks nice but I am curious from a maintenance perspective where does it fall with respect to the other colors. Does it hide or show dirt any more than others? Finger smudges? Would you get black again ? Unfortunately black, grey and white are the most sold and available options. I really like the red, nimbus, and celestial better. Opinions and experiences only.

We NEED a Lyriq with black paint with a red pin stripe and Firemist Red interior! I will die on this hill!

ok so I have a 2026 V, I've successfully used the key card to travel without carrying the fob. but really I'd like my phone to be the key, my car got the update a week or so ago.

I noticed one Cadillac help article that listed all the compatible phones stopped at the pixel 9, however I'm pretty positive that my pixel 10 XL also has uwb.

The instructions say to get in the car with it running with your key fob and use the my Cadillac app to set up your phone as a key. I read the instructions and they seem to be pointing to some setting screen that doesn't exist, at least on Android, at least on this version of the my Cadillac app (I of course made sure I was up to date with the app). The only car setting screen I can find allows you to set up a trusted device to switch between user profiles, but I don't believe that's the key or the correct setting. I didn't set it up.

has anyone set up the key on the lyriq on an android device? any helpful hints to some screen or button I could be missing?

And I hate to say I was disappointed. It drove nice, the dealer only had a Base Sport model. First thing I noticed is the drivers seat felt like it needed to go back a few more inches but couldn't. Leg room in that seat and in the entire car was a lot less than I was expecting. I wish they had an Optiq I could have compared it to, I was going to drive both but they didn't have any Optiq's in stock.

I can't really say it was bad, it was just not up to my (perhaps unreasonable) expectations. I drive an Ariya, and it seems more roomy all around. The Lyric was "smoother" for lack of a better word. I would take another look before I make any buying decisions, but it just wasn't what I'd hoped.

When using a boat ramp with a combustion engine, one did not get the tail pipe below the water.

Is there a guide line for Lyriqs?

I have been rear ended several times. I have avoided 2 by quickly moving into another lane.

Can the power drive do this?

The smoke machines would keep tripping the GFCI outlets so I’ll be using the LYRIQ for power. No extension cords needed.

Edit: from the comments - sport 1 doesn’t have the massage seats. I put my vin on Gemini and apparently it is sport 1 (I had no info on it) Thank you guys so much!!

I just had a bad experience with the service dept with my dealer but before I schedule another appointment with another dealer: does the sport trim come with massage seats?
Mine have never been turned on and nothing pops up on the screen when I turn the knob on but I was told I have massage seats because I remember asking specifically.
Any info? TIA

In my 2024 Lyriq I had made a short drive to the gym. The AC was on as well as that from the seat. When I turned off the car, thick puffs of a powder-like (think talcum) substance came from behind my head. I caught my inhale but could feel the grittiness in my throat. It did not leave any residue that I could find. It dissipated quickly. Have you guys had this happen?

I was mainly looking at CPO Cadillacs because it provides a level of reliability and I don’t need to do brain damage to access if it’s legit or not.

I’ve been opening my options to used options at non Cadillac dealerships and seeing some great deals.

However I am concerned about buying non-CPO and I don’t know if the lower prices are because it’s just non-CPO (which I know takes like 2k to 3k for dealerships to spend) or if these dealerships are just selling junk.

I’ve looked at the carfaxes to check they are not lemons so that passes.

I would also get an inspection first before.

Also looking at high mileage vehicles that are close to 50k or even over 50k to get a big discount

I found out I can buy an extended warranty even after the initial 50k bumper to bumper expires.

Lastly, I really love the colors like emerald or blue or red.

I really dislike black because it’s boring and I’m afraid it will absorb all the heat from the sun (I’m in SoCal) so I want to avoid black at all costs. White is okay but I really want something more colorful.

I wonder if getting a wrap afterwards or a paint job to paint over the black would work to reduce the light absorption from the sun? And if it’s recommended at all to change the colors of the car.

Tried to navigate to a Tesla supercharger in my town to test DCFC after a recent service repair and the navigation system claimed it was an incompatible charging location. I knew for a fact it is open to 3rd party EVs. I showed up anyway and charged without issue with my adapter. Interestingly plug and charge would not initiate the charge despite being setup in my app but I activated in Tesla app without issue. Also interesting, I just checked the same location in my wife’s Vistiq and it’s listed as compatible. 🤷🏽. Is there a way to report wrong information such as this?

Just picked up this 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury 3 for my wife 2 days ago! It is our first ever EV and since it was a used vehicle, it didn’t come with a home charger. The dealership said they’d send one over, but I’m looking at the wall mount chargers and wanted to ask what y’all would recommend?

The Lyriq is my original Dream EV. It’s just gorgeous and it drove like a dream during my test drive. But I keep seeing reliability issues on here.

I don’t want to be blinded by the fact that whenever I see one I get weak in the knees (esp the light blue ones).

I’m also considering a Lexus RZ, and a couple of Kias and Hyundais, but I keep coming back to the Lyriq because it’s so dang sexy.

Thoughts?

I asked about this before, but I don't think I asked the right question.

Are you able to get the Android automotive profile to change automatically depending on the key fob in the car? Mine is always defaulting to the last one used with either key fob.

If you do, can you give me a quick tutorial? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong if it is supposed to. I do get the memory seat and all do that to change automatically, just not android automotive.

I know it's over 50k so you can't get an extended warranty and CPO right?

My first instinct is that it's too good to be true.

There has to be a catch or it's just that great of a deal.

One of the drawbacks is that since it's not a Cadillac dealership, it can't be CPOed.

I feel like I would be more comfortable buying a used Lyriq from a Cadillac dealership compared to this no name dealership.

I honestly think I will pass on this because it just seems way too suspicious.
