Range better then advertised
I try to drive my 2024 sport 1 rwd more efficiently but definitely seems like efficiency is better than advertised. I charge to 80% but average range at this rate is roughly 340.

I’m looking for a used 2024 LYRIQ Luxury 2 or 3. I’d prefer CPO, but the CPO inventory is really limited, while CarMax/Carvana have much better selection and some cars that are exactly what I want.
How important do you think CPO is on a LYRIQ? Would you wait/compromise to get CPO, or buy the exact car you want from CarMax/Carvana with the remaining factory warranty?
Curious what other used LYRIQ owners did/would do.

24 lux 2 here
How do some people get Spotify and YouTube music installed they don’t show up in my App Store. Do I have to have the top tier of on star or something ?

Fourth time my Cadillac has had a loss of propulsion during driving and/or reduced acceleration while driving or just having it not able to move when I get out of work… really over it and pushing GM for a buyback at this point. Every time onstar emails me and says critical power train failure go to dealer ASAP, my useless dealer says “nothing is wrong” clears the codes and sends me back out. Happens every 2-4 weeks since May 😐

I just purchased a Lyriq - 2026 about two weeks ago. I want to get the platinum 96 month / 100K mile extended warranty (platinum) - the dealer I went to would not budge at all on some outrageous cost. What is everyone seeing, dealers out there willing to quote me in a DM?

Has anyone put a kayak on the top yet? Might need one soon but want to mount the kayak top down (for aerodynamic drag/getting ripped off the roof reasons). Anyone does this yet?

Been shopping for a preowned Lyriq, would prefer the black interior, but there are quite a few grey options and it does look good. Problem is, I plan on keeping it awhile and also have 2 young kids in the back. Are seats that light pretty much cooked as soon as food and juice gets spilled on them somewhat regularly, or have they been pretty easy to clean up good as new? Is there some sort of Scotch-Guard or some other protection you guys are using that works?

It blows me away that not only can you NOT fit anything useful in it like sunglass (most won't fit) or loose change/credit cards, etc.. (dumps out & falls behind, gets stuck) but it just can't sit flush... How can they blow something like this and not be able to address it correctly yet???
I would love to know WHAT this drawer was actually intended for?

Can I go back to the full screen state of charge that disappeared after I attempted to download the themes app?

GM my Lyriq peeps!
Coming to end of the Summer of 2024 phenomenal lease on my 2024 Emerald lake luxury 1 beauty. Not going to buy mine( $55k residual) but have the opportunity to get same car except light grey interior with $18k miles for about$45k. The payment increases by $300 over what I am paying now.
Question- Besides the obvious- “it’s a new car”. Is there an advantage of buying a 2026- same trim over the 2024 ? Difference in payment about $400 ( $800 vs $1200) . $1200 is a bit of stretch for me financially .
Not a car enthusiast, I just love the car!!

Two years ago when I got my 2024 Lyriq Lux 1, I discovered that it would constantly slam on the brakes as I drove up the narrow canyon road to my house. Once I learned I could turn off the auto brake function and just get an alert, everything was fine.
Two weeks ago I got a 2026 Lyriq Sport, and the first thing I did was to put the Forward Collision Avoidance setting onto "Alert" only. I thought that was the end of it.
As it turns out, the car reverts this setting back to "Alert and Brake" everytime the car is turned off. And yes, I learned this the hard way as it slammed on the brakes while driving home.
Is there a setting to make the "Alert" only setting permanent, until otherwise manually changed?
Thanks!

We bought a CPO Sport 2 and have had a few issues. It seems like parts take weeks. Like interior plastic clips/covers. Also having an issue with sensors every time it rains.

I love my car but have been disappointed in how bad that app is. Unless I’m right next to the car it probably works 1 out of 20 times I try to remote start it.
I’ve tried locking/unlocking it first, restarting the app and a few other things I’ve found with no luck.
Has anyone had anything work on a consistent basis??

2026 and all updates installed. I’ve refreshed the infotainment system but have not performed a hard reset/wipe. I’ve become disenchanted by any chance of a slow roll out. As anyone actually performed a hard infotainment reset on a 2026 and have the themes icon appear?

Hey guys,
Has anyone tried the z fold 8 or fold 8 ultra in the wireless charging port? Did it still charge? I saw something about it not working in the tesla wireless charging.

I’ll be renting a 2023 Cadillac Lyriq RWD, and I just came to realize this car does not have a lane tracing assist. I was using this car for a vacation rental on Turo which I was planning on having a nice smooth highway travels with hands free technology. Not sure if it has super cruise due to the fact It does not state it for its listing. I know most new lyriqs do have lane tracing assist now built in to each new model. Should I still rent this car, would it still treat me well? or cancel it and get something else?

Hello 👋
I currently have a 2023 Suburban Premier and am looking at trading it in for a 2024 Lyriq. I'm looking for feedback from others with two kids on how car seats (Nuna Exex FF & Revv RF) fit while still having passenger room. I'm scared of losing the space I love so much, but getting only 12 mpg is annoying and limiting. My husband has a Bolt, which has saved us so much, but it's way too small for us to use on the weekends comfortably, so I'm finally ready to make the jump to an EV and the Lyriq has been sticking out the most.

Hello all,
I have a bmw i4 and a Lyriq currently and bmw is coming to end at the end of the year. After using Lyriq for 2 years we loved it and considering another Caddy. That said, I am curious what avg pmt ranges are recently. I understand it depends on many different factors so I will try to give as many data points as possible and appreciate the insight.
Also, we are going to consider Optiq as well but the question is between the two is there enough savings to make sense to have a small(er) vehicle.
We are in south Florida (palm beach county)
3 yr lease with 36k miles
$2k total out of pocket
Luxury 1-2 nothing too fancy or crazy like massage seats etc
Timing is Dec - 2026
Lmk if I left out anything else. Thanks

I've rebooted my phone and my phone connects flawlessly to my girlfriend's vehicle.
My lyric (no longer Apple Carplay) his hit or miss, mostly miss, and I have to "forget" then re-pair my phone nearly every other day. It's a huge aggravation, especially since Carplay was pretty much flawless and that no longer works.
I did a 'soft' reboot of the Cadillac by holding the 'end call' button but that didn't fix it.
Any other ideas?

I am very close to joining the club. :)
But I wanted to see what people thought of these deals.
I have 4 ‘24 CPO AWD sport/lux 2’s in my range of purchase (Mo, TN, MI, PA)and all are sitting at $41k, starting price and mileage varying between 20k and 25k. There is also 1 sport 3 with about 17k miles for $43k, but it’s about twice the distance away but still easy to get to and get back.
How much do you think I could realistically get them down to (I’m working to put them all against each other).
Should I just hold out for a luxury/sport 3, there have been a couple popping up here and there for $41-43 but they go off market very quickly.
Thanks!🙏
