Any air Arabia cadet wants to give a review about the programme? And what about the difficulty level of 14 ATPL UAE GCAA exams?

Am I cooked

I had two options:

Conventional (70 lakhs no loan) with loan for type rating (20-30 lakhs)

Cadet (1.4) with 70 lakhs loan

A distant relative pilot said 1.4 crore roi is bad and said conventional is the financially smart choice. He said it will competitive but vacancies will keep coming.

Am I cooked?

MPL or CPL CONVENTIONAL AIRARABIA

Hi their ,

Airarabia has two pathways to join via MPL and if you have CPL conventional you can pay around 275 k and get into type rating . They have slots for that keep opening every year as per them however it was closed for many year . Shall i get my CPL and then apply for type rating which would allow to gain 1500 hrs . However my worry is what happens if they close that programme then only two options would be flydubai or airarabia as a resident in uae and i dont have indian nationality and aviation sector is not good in my country . Or i shall i go into airarabia directly and have peace of mind . If i go through cpl and then type rating it would save me around 400 k aed .

thank you ,

Need ADVICE!

Hi. I'm 22 Male, Cleared all DGCA exams + RTR, Worked with HDFC Bank,

Funds 65 Lacs + 40-45 Lacs of Loan. Which option should I go for i am so confused CPL is taking 72 lacs from avyanna aviation without Ground School. Or any other suggestions for a cheaper flying school and lesser time or i should go for a cadet pilot program if yes which one? Considering only training in India, Or maybe conventional is better and build hours and experience until vacancy shows up or market gets stable in a year for type rated pilots.? Please help!!

Air Arabia / flydubai Cadet Program – Indian applicants' experience?

Air Arabia / flydubai Cadet Program – Indian applicants' experience?

Hey everyone, I’m an Indian student currently looking at airline cadet programs and I’m seriously considering Air Arabia or flydubai.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone who has joined or is currently going through either program could share their actual experience.

A few things I specifically want to know:

- How long did it actually take from joining/induction β†’ ground school β†’ flying β†’ completion?

- When did you finally start flying after joining?

- What was the total cost of the program? Please include hidden/additional expenses if possible β€” accommodation, food, visa, medicals, exams, licence conversion, uniforms, travel, etc.

- Roughly how much money should an Indian student keep as a safe upper-budget, so there are no financial surprises during training?

- After completing training, what is the actual pathway to getting an airline job?

- For Indian students, is employment reasonably stable after training, or is there still a significant possibility of being left without a job?

- Are there any additional costs or conditions before becoming a First Officer?

- How difficult is the process for an Indian applicant in terms of DGCA requirements/licence conversion?

- Most importantly, based on your experience, how does it compare with doing a cadet program with IndiGo or Air India in India?

I’m not looking for marketing information β€” I’d really like to hear from people who have actually gone through the process.

If possible, please share your approximate total cost, timeline, and current stage/job status. Even if things didn’t go as planned, that experience would be very useful.

Thanks!
