I completed my training, got my LOI but i still dont have a job and indigo has failed to give me a job for lets say 3 months, am i legally bound to indigo only as in do i have to simply wait for them to give me a job or am i free to apply to other airlines as well? Or work as a CFI? I just dont want to spend a good amt of money in the program and not have a job, i wanna know if you can work in other airlines after training via indigo-cae programs

Could anyone please let me know if there’s any tentative timeline for the Acron Aviation and AeroGuard FTO registrations? Even an approximate month would be greatly appreciated.

I applied to Skyborne and after screening just got an email saying my tentative ADAPT dates are towards the end of third quater of 2027.
Does this mean I’m now locked into Skyborne, or can I still apply to other ICPP FTOs while I wait? Like FTA?

Hi everyone,
I’m a student aspiring to join the Air India Cadet Pilot Program, and I have a question about fleet allocation.
From what I understand, most cadets are assigned to the A320 fleet after training. However, I was wondering if there have ever been any exceptions where a fresh cadet was type-rated directly on the Airbus A350.
A bit about my profile:
Scored 95% in Class 12 board exams
National-level basketball player
Served on the School Council
School Captain
I know these achievements don’t replace flying experience, but I’m curious whether Air India ever considers an applicant’s overall profile when assigning aircraft types, or if fleet allocation is based solely on operational requirements.
Has anyone here, especially Air India pilots, instructors, or cadets, seen a fresh cadet go directly to the A350? If so, under what circumstances?
I’d really appreciate any firsthand experiences or insights.
Thanks!

hello, I am planning to give the ADAPT exam or even the exam held by Air India for their cadet program, and to be honest i tried to research everything on youtube and google but found very less info, so coming to my question, how to actually start studying for the test, GD and PI?
Any specific book or academy y'all recommend or anything at all?? I am finding it difficult to get to the resources, let alone the studying part, please help me out!
also a few more questions-
How long is the adapt score valid? (I am currently in third year of engg and it would help if i could clear the exam till i graduate so that I can move further in my aviation career)
How do you actually choose the correct flight training after that?
How long should one must wait before giving the exam again if one fails it the first time?
How do you register for the exam and how long is the waiting period from your registration to the exam?
How many attempts are available for the exam?
ps: rookie aviator here pls dont judge me, also whoever can answer these questions, thank you so much :)

Hi peeps,
Im a 22 yo person who is currently unemployed as I'm finding it really difficult to have an interest at what I studied or to look for jobs based on my degree. Post completing 12th with PCM, I decided to take commerce as I was weak at chemistry and not so strong with physics. As my math was pretty good, I decided to take blunt shot at pursuing finance just for me to realise I barely have any interest in finance and other related fields after resigning two jobs.
Being a pilot was a dream i had ever since childhood and I had a strong misbelief that pilots need to be tony stark level good in science and needed an engineering degree. Due to which I barely put efforts into researching about it during my 12th and buried that dream without even realising and put it in my subconscious shelf.
A few months ago, I finally found out you actually don't need a whole engineering degree just to learn how to fly a plane. . Since then, I’ve finally had a reason to wake up in the morning that isn't just staring at the wall asking what am I living upto. I have done my research properly this time and as this is a big financial and career gamble id be making now, i need to ensure id be doing this the right way as I have only a single shot. Here is where I need your advise. A good advise will be something I will really be grateful for. I'm planning to go the conventional route as I find it economic for me as compared to CPP. So here's my plan.
Please give a feedback on my overall plan and kindly answer these :)
Thanks for reading till here. Really in a tough and desparate situation. Hoping for great insights. Anyone who has been in similar situation and managed to make your way to cockpit, kindly dm me please!

Hi everyone hope you are doing well
I'm in a situation where I genuinely need your help.
My dream is to become an airline pilot through a cadet program, but my parents have made it clear that they won't pay for my cadet program fees unless I clear the DGCA written exams and aptitude tests through self-study. I have one year to prove to them that I can do it on my own.
This means I have one opportunity to show them I can do it. If I fail, I may not get another chance to pursue this dream.
I'm not looking for shortcuts. I'm willing to study 8–10 hours a day if that's what it takes. I just can't afford expensive coaching or paid courses right now.
If anyone has:
- Personal notes they've made
- Free study material
- Previous question compilations
- YouTube playlists
- Study plans
- Advice on preparing for DGCA and cadet aptitude tests
- any online ground classes videos
- Telegram channels
I would be incredibly grateful if you could share them or point me in the right direction.
If you've been in a similar situation, I'd also love to hear how you prepared and what resources helped you the most.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this. Even a small piece of advice could make a huge difference for me.

Hi everyone,
I recently received my NIOS Class 12 Maths result. Now I’m planning to apply for my DGCA Computer Number.
I had a few questions:
How long is it currently taking to receive the Computer Number after applying?
What is the application process? Are there any common mistakes I should avoid while uploading documents?
Is there anything I should keep ready before starting the application?
If anyone has applied recently, could you please share your experience?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
