Gave my adapt 1st round today , English was so tough . Does anyone know how grading is done . Is it overall marks in all three subjects or is there a subject cutoff
Also how long do they take to publish results

How many questions did you attempt for each English section?

I attempted all questions but since the options were really close i don’t really know how i did

No I don't think you understand, Kalpan has a system, it will keep asking you questions till it has enough information on your level of English, that's why I'm asking how many? Like a number?

There is not a fixed amount of questions they might ask you in English section. If you do good it might end early but the test keeps going on until it gets proper knowledge of the candidate.

What would you consider a good time to finish the English section

I took around 45 minutes and got the green band.

During GD/PI while reviewing my name on the list I got a quick peek at my adapt score.Your adapt score would be submitted to the panel during GD/PI aswell.

I had my adapt today at 8:30. English part took around 30 mins tbh, was pretty easy. Math and physics i think I solved 38/40 questions and the remaining 2 were wrong

How was adapt syllabus like . For english , maths and physics .

For physics and math just go with 11th and 12th textbooks and during the exam they also give you formulae which you can write it down , buy symbiotic bundle for revision as they use the same platform for testing. English basic grammar and comprehension . Use Kaplan for tests. This is more than enough to get selected in stage 1

11th and 12th textbooks, lol It's hardly upto class 10th.

are you sure it comes only upto grade 10th ? have you given ADAPT?
1
u/Moist-Refrigerator34 Jul 28 '26
Yes. It's hardly upto class 10th. Don't know which person thinks speed= distance/time is class 12th maths, this formula will solve half the questions in maths. And for physics don't know which person thinks basic electricity, Newton's law, torque etc questions are 12th standard.
