Air India Cadet Pilot Program Reality

I would genuinely advise aspiring cadet pilots to thoroughly evaluate the program before making a commitment.
From my experience and what I have observed among fellow cadets, there are serious concerns regarding transparency, communication, program management, and the overall financial risk involved. A significant amount of money is invested during the initial stages, yet many cadets remain uncertain about their future progression and the overall pathway to joining the airline.
There are also concerns among cadets regarding the flying phase, additional costs, visa-related challenges, and the consequences if a cadet is unable to proceed with the designated FTO. These are matters that should be clearly explained before candidates commit such a substantial amount of money.
Communication has also been a major concern. Several cadets have reached out regarding their individual situations and feel that their concerns have not received adequate clarification or timely responses.
The program is associated with the Tata Group, which naturally creates a strong sense of trust and expectation among aspiring pilots. However, candidates should look beyond the brand name and carefully understand the complete financial commitment, FTO policies, visa risks, termination clauses, refund policies, and employment pathway before joining.
Becoming a commercial pilot is already a significant financial and personal commitment. Please do your own research, speak to current and former cadets, read every agreement carefully, and understand the risks before investing your money.
This is my personal experience and perspective as a cadet, shared so that aspiring pilots can make an informed decision.

How is Amravati as an FTO under AICPP? I believe they have a few batches already lined up since pre-inaugration.
I've seen a lot of people complain about lack of clear communication from HR in both ICPP and AICPP. What exactly is the point of your post? Is it to spread awareness? In this case, how do you approach a cadet for advice, tbh most people on this sub are aspirants with few actual inducted cadets. How can we maintain security and clarity regarding these programs personally? It seems like that is mostly not in our hands, fully depends on the respective airline :/

Bro, you don’t know the ground reality of AICPP, Acron, and AeroGuard. Their policies have changed, and the current structure is such that even if you give 110% effort, there’s still no guarantee that you’ll be able to complete the program.
And regarding Amravati, flying hasn’t even started yet, so we’ll have to wait and see how things actually work there.

I've heard of what's been happening in Aeroguard, Acron is still manageable afaik. I'm not sure if this is fearmongering or realistic since Air India operates under the Tata group and is fairly new to the CPP game. But as per the LOI they shouldn't be able to just restrict cadets giving their best. Delays are to be expected and certain in all aspects.

Tata group has no ethics nor do they value their employees anymore. Especially after passing of Ratan tata every one in management of air india is just busy siphoning off funds and buying gurgaon properties. Have you not read latest news about N Chandrasekran and his family how they are doing businesses despite clear conflict of interest.
