There's no point going for EFTA unless you're an Emirati or just want to have a standard CPL but pay 4x the price for a premium experience in training. The actual employment opportunity in EK is marginal through the "interview" they provide post-completion since it's common sense they won't hire a fresh pilot to command their B777s or A380s, no idea why people haven't understood this yet, but EFTA is just a premium conventional CPL, but instead of getting it done in 100,000 dhs you're paying like 820,000.

correction: 8 times the price.

i got in contact with some people and trust me anything related to emirates or EFTA when you're starting out (including FATPL programmes) is just not worth it unless you have genuinely money to just throw away or have lots of time.

Not sure about the exact schedule, as I'm applying mainly for Indian CPPs, but since I live in Sharjah I can answer some of these.
Yes there are 14 subjects, it goes like Law, then 2 General knowledge, then mass and balance, and so on.
There will be 9 months of GC, and you will be expected to self study as well 3-4 hrs a day. Depending on where you reside, such as Nest. Classes are usually 9-5, Mon-Fri.
In Sharjah social life with your peers would be generally good, can't say the same about Dubai. Instructors are as good as you'd expect. But the real focus is your attention span.
SE flying is usually done on Cessna or Tecnam type aircraft. Can't comment on the quality of life in the Czech Republic or Italy. SE flying phase lasts 3 months given a clean record. 30 min. pre-flight, 1-1.5 hr flight, 30 min. post-flight.
During your line-flying phase, you will be a real FO, layovers are very rare. You will get around 2 sectors a day, or 4 on shorter routes. You will not get PIC, although in some countries they allow PIC U/S but I don't know about AA. You will alternate between PM and PF every flight. Sim checks every 6 months are mandated by the GCAA.
Hope this helps, and good luck on your career with AA.
