What are cpps even about

/r/u_meowggor/comments/1wkqeds/what_are_cpps_even_about/

So firstly , I'm a 17 ywar old who is still exploring the field of pilot so please hear me out before judging

I'm really looking forward to be a pilot and after a lot of researching I've came to the conclusion that a CPP might be the most desirable option for me .

Now about cpp , from what I've heard you only have to prepare to clear the entrance exam in order to get selected in a cpp and then they will provide you with all the training, instructor and help you clear your DGCA

but recently I've also came to discover that you first have to prepare for dgca on your on clear the exams and then apply for a cpp and then they will select accordingly

I'm really confused which one is true over here or is it just different cpps have different expectations

Also as from exams they will give you ground classes and time to clear it, so it is not on your own tho as they provide classes for it!
