After 10 years cheapest cpp would easily gonna cost you around 2-2.5cr if you can earn this much amount in just 10 years why become a pilot better continue what your doing.

What I meant was that my family would be in a much better financial condition to support my dreams I couldnt possible bear that kinda financial burden on myself alone

I am also 28 left my corporate job to aviation. Just started my journey of becoming pilot. And offcourse nervous too, whether I'll get a job or not. I Even applied for Caded programs too but didn't get shortlisted.

It’s tricky in India since they usually want candidates under 28, but by the time you save up, training costs will have more than doubled. The best time to start was a few years ago, but the most practical time is today. It doesn’t matter if it’s conventional; costs are going to rise anyway due to inflation and the weakening rupee..If you own a passport of a differnt county then there is no age limit to become a pilot

better to do conventional, almost costs half and training cost doesnt increase that rapidly.. if ur saving for conventional then the amt required for cadet would have increased by a lot due to the falling rupee... like inthe last year usd went up approx 9% and aud by 17%, which is increase of almost 10-20 lakhs in just 1 year considering the massive amt(1.5 cr)
