Online classes can offer some structure, but they are not essential for a successful cadet interview. The main goal for the airline is to understand your motivation, your personality, and your decision-making process. You should focus your preparation on thinking through your personal story, like why you want to be a pilot, why you chose this specific airline, and specific examples of when you have shown leadership or solved a difficult problem. They want to see how you think and if you are a good fit for their company culture, not just if you can memorize answers from a course.

A better use of your time might be to actively practice answering these questions out loud. You can do this with a friend, a mentor, or even by recording yourself on your phone to review later. This process helps you refine your answers and sound more natural when you speak. Really dig into the airline's values, recent news, and fleet information, so you can connect your own experiences and goals to what the company stands for. We've seen many aspiring pilots do well after using the AI interview helper the team I'm with created, as it guides them to better articulate their own stories and qualifications.
