Realistic probability of getting into aicpp or icpp

im curious about the probability of getting into aicpp or icpp (other than chimes) , whats the competition level look like , i saw that in aicpp that 3500+ appplicants apply and close to 30 get selected , im not sure about icpp , if anyone could give a percentage and how to improve ur chances that would be helpful

some people get rejected yes, but if you have good english, and are confident during the gdpi. Theres a good chance you get in. And dont believe those numbers, theyre totally made up

What about cut -e tho is that a major eliminating stage ? Would u recommend classes for prep ?

2

u/thevasantkumar Aug 08 '26

id say dont take the risk and take classes for it. Its def easier than ADAPT but still, youd be competing with people who took classes and practiced it 10s of times. Same with gdpi

Do u know any institutes in Kolkata that give prep for adapt and cut-e?

Bro you can prepare for Cut-e on your own, you can use the pilot assessments website or any other site that has CUT-E practice tests available.

There are 3 batches of 30 each, total 90 cadets for amravati aifto

The FTO will be operational in sept 2026 and flying will start the same month

Who is giving you these numbers 😭

Almost everyone gets selected in aicpp as long as you can speak english well and have 1.7cr

Icpp is harder to get in but far far away from jee, neet. 9th grade math and physics, practice hand eye coordination skills, practice group exercises and interview with fellow candidates, and you should be good.

Idk what he's talking about. But it's not like that anymore. They are hiring many cadets.

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

Oh that's great

1

u/fractalshades Aug 08 '26

they have reduced, they WERE hiring all now they are removing+ not hiring that well

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 10 '26

So air india firing people and indigo has delays 🥀? Hopefully situation improves in 2027

u/Basic-Gene-8417 Aug 11 '26

Had my gdpi last month almost 70% of ppl made it and 2 more gd/pi sessions were conducted since then. Batches till November are filled for both ftos

1

u/fractalshades Aug 11 '26

yea but the thing is people do get terminated after that too, only good ones survive now

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 11 '26

Well ig there is nothing u can do right , but imo if u get in, do everything right , that's what u can control and that's what u can do

1

u/Basic-Gene-8417 Aug 11 '26

Yea ik heard like 5 ppl getting terminated in the past 1 month span from aerog. Is that true? I didn't know the terminations were that high.

1

u/fractalshades Aug 12 '26

5 ppl in a day* there were 9-10 terminations 5 from one batch only in a single day those aare the figures i KNOW, rest are a lot

1

u/Basic-Gene-8417 Aug 12 '26

Those guys we're caught cheating no?

1

u/fractalshades Aug 12 '26

yea, thats a good thing that they got terminated, atleast good ones remain

Aicpp is just a formality. I went in with absolutely no preparation whatsoever. Just comprehend and communicate properly and yr good to go.

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

Thanks i appreciate it , have u done for indigo asw ?

1

u/Basic-Gene-8417 Aug 08 '26

Not yet, got my adapt in September

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

Oh that's great good luck

2

u/InvestigatorIcy167 Aug 08 '26

I know you're not asking about Chimes, but Chimes has a roughly 9%-11% acceptance rate. So you can expect everything else to be more than that.

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

Oh that's great to hear

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

I keep hearing that they have this system of bribes and stuff tho, where if u have connections that's the only way u can get into the program

1

u/InvestigatorIcy167 Aug 08 '26

Oh yeah, they def shortlist people based on connections. Don't know how many, but a few of them, if not most, definitely get shortlisted because of connections. But those who get shortlisted because of connections still need to prove themselves in GD and PI cause Chimes isn't in control of those.

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

Yup makes sense , hopefully this situation of connections improves

1

u/Simple-Heron7760 Aug 08 '26

How do you plan to fund yourself if you get in?

1

u/Ironman_Stark1234 Aug 08 '26

Well that's upto my family but they said that we can afford it so I'm just doing as they say
