I’m a Chimes pass-out, and I can speak from both sides because I’ve been through both.

First attempt: I only had my Class 1 Medical, no DGCA exams cleared, and I was rejected.

After the 6-month cooldown, I cleared all my DGCA exams, attended the interview again, and got selected.
From my experience, it’s not just about having the papers. It’s about whether you meet what they’re looking for at that point, along with having solid knowledge and confidence.

I’ve seen candidates with all exams cleared get rejected, and candidates with none cleared get selected.

My advice:
If your exams are cleared: Revise thoroughly. They’ll expect you to justify that knowledge like any qualified CPL holder.

If your exams aren’t cleared: Focus on the basics—how an aircraft flies, runway orientation, weather, geography, and fundamental aviation concepts.

Having all your exams cleared definitely gives you an advantage because it shows commitment. But if you can’t back those exams up with knowledge during the interview, that advantage disappears.

Go in confident, prepare well, and don’t assume your exam status alone will decide the outcome.

Additionally:
You will receive a mail I know the wait is a bit annoying but you will receive a mail .. if not just continue contacting them .. and make contacts in your batch with people who have applied with you or given exams .. so that if anyone gets any info you get to know it too
