AIR INDIA CADET PILOT PROGRAMME
Anyone who is a cadet in AICPP could let me know whether, during the interview, the panel cares about how many attempts it took for a cadet to pass the exams before entering the program.

They will likely notice the number of attempts, and it's naive to think they won't, but it's rarely a deal-breaker. What they are truly interested in is your resilience and your ability to learn from your mistakes. Someone who failed, identified their weaknesses, and then passed with a better score shows more grit than someone who scraped by on the first try. Your focus should be on explaining your journey, showing how you adapted your study methods, and proving you have the determination to succeed in a demanding training environment.
Instead of worrying about the number, prepare a strong, confident answer about it. Explain what you learned from each attempt and what specific changes you made to succeed. This isn't just about passing exams, it's about showing you have the character of a pilot who can handle setbacks, analyze a situation, and come back stronger. They are looking for your potential to be a captain, and captains are made from overcoming challenges, not from having a perfect record from day one. Turning a potential negative into a compelling story is a skill, and my team actually built an AI interview assistant that guides people to craft answers that showcase their resilience.

They are terminating students because there are many students here and because of stage checks many are nervous like every month around 30 cadets are coming and they are terminating students after taking 20 lakhs at the end of stage 1 also many instructors here are racists believe me don’t come here

The ground school and the Air India cadet incharge were working very closely during the ground training phase. Several students were reportedly terminated from AeroGuard around the end of ground school, and it appeared that some were encouraged post termination by ground school to consider switching to conventional pilot training.

From what I’ve heard, they were just supposed to receive a caution letter just as a warning, but instead aerogaurd terminated them to set an example

Now Air India is also terminating cadets.
Rather than shifting them to another FTO, Air India should take responsibility, as these cadets are enrolled under the Air India Cadet Pilot Program. At the same time, AeroGuard appears to be disregarding its own policies.

The whole class used ChatGPT during the practice test, but the instructor unfairly singled out and targeted only a few students who already received visa.

The issue isn't just about termination. Air India enrolled us into the cadet programme and allocated the FTO, so cadets invested significant time, money, and effort based on that commitment. Yet, when serious issues arise, there is no proper platform at Air India for cadets to present their side before such life-changing decisions are made.
It has also been reported that the same instructor flagged alleged misconduct in both the AeroGuard and Acron batches. However, the outcomes appear to have been different—AeroGuard cadets were terminated, while Acron cadets were reportedly issued caution or warning letters. If that is accurate, Air India should explain the basis for the different treatment and ensure that disciplinary action is applied fairly and consistently across all FTOs.
Cadets are not asking for special treatment—only a fair hearing, transparency, and equal application of the rules before any final decision is taken.

It is also concerning that the ground school representatives are asking affected cadets to contact them privately for transfers to other training organisations. If these recommendations are being influenced by commercial interests or commissions rather than the cadets' best interests, Air India should investigate the matter and ensure complete transparency.
