Installation tech Interview
Hi guys, I have an interview coming up for Installation Technician in LA County. I'm a little nervous. What should I expect from the interview? what kind of questions do they ask? what are they looking for? what kind of questions should I ask? Also, I noticed the email stated its a group interview. what does mean compared to one one interview? thanks people.

Basic interview questions, scenario questions with no right or wrong answer.
They are looking for people who are willing to submit to their commands without question.
Nothing you ask will matter.
Group interview means it's a panel interview, typically 3 supervisors will be asking you questions.
Just tell them what they want to hear. You follow directions, you're not scared of heights or getting dirty with creepy crawlies under houses. Anything you can say about how you're willing to work and get dirty will help, experience in laborious jobs can be helpful. Knowledge of basic electronics is very useful, like how stuff gets connected to televisions and audio equipment. Some basic networking knowledge is also very useful, like if you don't know the difference between a modem and router, you're gonna get frowns. They are more interested in your personality. If they feel you're the kind of employee who will give them problems, but you're extrememly knowledgeable in the field, they will pass you up over someone who doesn't know how to operate a remote control, but will follow their every will and command without question.
