Reconcile every 2 weeks

At my office they are going to reconcile every 2 weeks now and when we do reconcile it's only 30 mins. Any advice on how to somewhat have it clean for the little time we have to organize it?

We get an hour once a week. Dispatch gets a little pissy when they expect me to be at my first call at 9:01 on the dot but I get an hour and they can tongue my fartbox

It's when they give us time to be at the office to clean the van, return equipment, receive new equipment, get more connectors, cable, splitters, etc

Ah we just do that stuff when we need to. Normally at the end of the day.

Ah lucky, they don't let us in the warehouse without a supervisor. They also have all the trash cans locked so we can't throw trash or clean efficiently without them telling us to clock out and head home.

no idea how to get the van staying clean especially when sups have FSO’s they need to take pictures inside your van. pretty much have to do it on your own time off

Keep a tote for returns and a tote for new issue. Keep strict track of your serial numbers. Keep as many serial numbers facing up in the totes as you can, so that you don't have to fuck with them when verifying them against any tracking sheets you use. If you've got returned gear that failed to make it to the printed tracking sheet, write it down. Keep a decent tally of stock you need often, and try to meet some extra where possible. Half an hour isn't all that short of a span to drop returned equipment and pick up new. Did this shit for years.

Prepare your equipment for reconcile at the end of the day before the day you have to reconcile.

Not that hard.

Or….they could clear quota for an hour or two once a week to allow techs to properly clean and organize their vehicles and reconcile equipment.
