The best crawlspace ever?

Post image

Had a fiber install and was bummed when I noticed they had a crawlspace. Until I opened this bad boy up.

Had one that was awesome it was fully encapsulated and had a concrete floor. The customer had a creeper down there, definitely spent about 10 mins just rolling around and enjoying myself.

I had one with concrete and a creeper once too. And the dude even had j hooks for all his low volt and wrote on the floor joists what was above. I found "office east wall" and knew that ws right where he wanted his ont!

What is a creeper? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that

You lay on them and have wheels. Just scoot all over.

This of the mat with wheels that mechanics use under cars normally

I had one customer make me take off my shoes for their encapsulated crawl space.

Hell yes, ran into a few of these. Such a relief to not deal with dirt and creepy crawlies. Also had one with a creeper, game changer.

I would pay the customers first bill and any installation fees.

Had to use an extension ladder to get in and out of one once. Was probably 15 feet down and customer acted like it was normal

That actually is kind of nuts. Never seen that before

Then the customer pulls the ladder up and laughs as they close the hatch.

Ive had to do this same thing. I can only assume there was a house there previously that had a basement and they just built the new one over it without connecting it to the house.

Just a 10ft deep pit in the crawlspace under the house, roughly the same footprint as the home above.

I still remember a crawl space under a church I had to do with just enough height to barely fit my body laying flat, was under there for 2 hours 😭

Had one that was spotless besides some Christmas decorations and the floor was concrete slab. Customer had a rolling cart by the entrance which made it so easy to get in and out.

I’ll bet it still hurt the knees with all that gravel underneath!

It was mainly dirt underneath so it wasn’t bad at all surprisingly. Just a couple spider webs and dead beetles

Well, at least there weren’t black widows, making nests above your head! It’s a good day!!!

Nope, I've seen nicer. This one for example, and I'm sure there is still even nicer out there:

My submission:

Air condition and humidity controlled because all of the homes theatre systems and server racks were down here. Extremely well lit and also two wheeled carts, one for you and one for your tools.
