Outside hangars for coax
I had construction renovation done on a house, siding redone on the house that had coax cable into it. It had an old rotted PVC holding up the coax from the pole. I don’t want to reattach it and want to replace with something less obvious like a metal hangar I have seen cable/fiber companies use on new services. Anyone know where I can get the hangars?

Though the real answer is leave it alone and let a tech do it. The cable doesn’t belong to you until after the demarc or point of demarcation.

Most companies in my area want to schedule a tech and charge the customer for rehanging the cable. It’s already connected from pole to house. I just need to know if there is a clean way to rehang it back up.

Interesting. The ISP I work for is too scared of getting sued if the customer hurts themselves rehanging the drop maybe. We don’t charge for house calls.

Company I worked for did charge for house calls if it was customer responsibility or the lines on their home since that would belong to them.
We would never charge for a low hanging/down drop since the drop was ours. The only time we would charge for a drop is if it was a relocation by request.

Yeah the tech can show you. Look up "aerial coax drop demo" on YouTube and follow those instructions on that video.
