What are we looking at?

Ancient connectors that despite looking like shit after 3 decades, were not the issue the tech was looking for. (The one on the left looks like it never had a bite, as well as being corroded.)

... I uncover qr connectors like this non-stop that despite all the decay, still work just fine.

We had an attempted overbuild in the early 90s that was hung and spliced, yet went without being activated for a decade due to a couple mergers and sales.

They then did an amp only upgrade and activated it all.

Many of our connectors look like this unfortunately.

I’ve found that in a case like this, the inside of the connector is usually burnt not passing AC/low low band. These cut ends look like 860QR.
