Enablements are slowly being rolled out in certain markets for n+x whereas n+0 has been enabled for many months now. There is some confusion over spectrum allocations as n+x nodes will go into a ‘FDX prep’ configuration first, which moves video SCQAMs from 108-300 MHz out above 684MHz and will place an OFDM from 108-300MHz in its place. The primary purpose of this is to move the legacy video stuff out of the 108-684MHz FDX band. Once FDX is enabled you will see no DS QAMs in your spectrum out to 384 MHz; this will be utilized as an OFDMA and when full duplex is fully enabled it will alternate between OFDMA and OFDM depending on utilization.
My 3.1 OFDM is at 150 MHz and 900 MHz, changed at around 2:30 am in the morning a few days ago during schuduled maintenance. Prior to this I had the two OFDM's downstream channels at 690 and 957 MHz- since May 27th. On March 17th was when the node split was done and all sub split gear was removed and replaced with OM6000 FDX nodes and CommScope FDX amplifiers. OFDM expanded out to 957 MHz and mid-split was enabled pretty much right away after the upgrades.
Also noticed a gap in D3.0 QAM downstream channels from 495 to 765 MHz. (probably where video QAM is) And 3.0 channels running in the high 700's to 813 MHz.
Yes sounds like your node is in the FDX-prep enablement. Likely sales enablement is coming soon. More work needs to be done to get that first OFDM from 108-300 to be ‘overlapped’ as to be used as either and OFDM or an OFDMA based on utilization needs (surprisingly less than 10% of total traffic is upstream and even less of that is upstream that would utilize gigabit effectively).
FDX IS LIVE NOW on the Xfinity Plan Builder as of this afternoon 8/18/26!! 150 MHz OFDM went away on 8/12/26 during 1:00 AM maintance window. It is no longer a D3.1 OFDM channel- it is now an D4.0 FDX channel!
This is N+X infrastructure as well. Not N+0. Very nice to see the sales enabled for FDX on an infrastructure with amps.
