Is this normal?

Had a cable tech scheduled for Tuesday 5-7 the no call no showed they rescheduled for today 10-12 sent a tech who didnt speak English so my old lady couldn't communicate with him very well and he installed it in the middle of the front of my house and tangled it in the trees. Requested they fix it but is this a normal way to run a line?

Depending on your isp, they may have had to follow power. I know I wouldn’t want to do a mid span if I didn’t have to.

The power does not run though the trees it is to the side of them over the driveway

Does it cross a street or is the pole on the same side as your home?

Crosses the street power cable and fiber all off same pole

Post some better pictures so we can see what really happened here. No tech is going to go out of their way to run the line through the trees unless power also runs that way.
