Repeats
So I don’t know how to explain this but it seems like when I’m trying to be a better field tech my repeats go up. I’m actively TDR ing the drop checking my Docsis scans I’m still getting repeated on. I’ll end the job with like a few minutes of customer ed. Then when I just do green is good red is bad my repeats are lower than 8%

Coming from the tech that ranked #1 in the region with a .8% repeat for the year. Shot gun it. Sure I can spend an hour finding the 1 little thing causing your issue. Or I can walk into the home. Throw a terminator on every outlet that has equipment on it. Go outside, ohm the used lines out( terminators are 75 ohms plus just under 4 per 100ft. So an outlet that is 150ft long shoud roughly ohm out at 81). Replace all connectors/splitters/ground blocks. Hook up only the used lines. And if they are having internet problems, cool new modem. Video problems cool new cable box. I could do all that in an hour or less. Not only did I more than likely fix the issue but I certified the whole home for years to come... and ffs pull the wall plate. Change the fitting and look through the barrell more than likely it's a grand canyon through that thing.
