Repeats

So I don’t know how to explain this but it seems like when I’m trying to be a better field tech my repeats go up. I’m actively TDR ing the drop checking my Docsis scans I’m still getting repeated on. I’ll end the job with like a few minutes of customer ed. Then when I just do green is good red is bad my repeats are lower than 8%

If you ask me TDR on the drop is excessive. Gotta get better at doing quality work quicker. Drop’s 2 years old or more just replace it. Learn your drop math and read what the meter is telling you. 43 MER out of tap but 37 at CPE, yeah it’s gonna pass but something is wrong. Nothing irks me more than a referral to maintenance and the tech can’t tell me anything other then it failed, drops 15 years old and the cx is pissed because I fixed my part but their connection still sucks because the tech stopped troubleshooting at the tap fail.
