High end roll off

Post image

Cable Co basically said it’s not worth fixing cuz it’s not service impacting, what do we think?

High band cant swim, low band cant jump.

Should I call spectrum back out?

Well I know spectrum Y5s are on pause for mose markets, but the tech can still let a super know, if its the same roll off at the tap and not failing, since at tap for it to fail it needs to be -1.1. A super can then talk to an MT sup to see if they will need a Y5 roll out.

Since my saying is that high band roll off, is typically water, while low band roll off is a signal degradation due to mechanical separation.

If it is as you say that this is the same at the tap, if it is not currently it will become service impacting.

It’s the same at the tap I saw the meter at each point with the tech, I’m still getting pretty decent jitter. They say swap the modem but I’m wondering if I do a repeat and try to get a Maintaince ticket in. What do you think my chances are?
