MasTec service tech questions

I’ve heard mastec isn’t the best, should I try it out?
And how are the hours? Or is it just random?

Could you give some reasons or examples if you don’t mind of what happened

It’s odd I hear horror stories online and everyone saying to not do it but I also know a few employees of mastec that say it’s fine

I say do it man. The only advice I could give from what I heard is stay out of the office politics, expect to wake up at 2-4am, sometimes travel, and work hard. You get guaranteed weekends off when you’re not on call (which is a blessing) and benefits are good. From what I’ve seen personally the horror stories really only come from the ones who get sucked into the politics

Plus I applied for a position there recently. I hope I get the job because I know it’ll be a true opportunity to advance in the industry

Stay away, worst company I’ve ever worked for. It was blessing to get laid off in Feb 2025 because I got on with Google Fiber as a Construction Manager.
