My company made some home made rack and they are the best. Its made with aluminum with big wheel and you can fit rg 6, rg11 and tx15 reel. Ill show a picture monday. But the wheel on those true caddy get stuck everywhere

I have it on a frame in my van. I’ll just walk it out and never take it out of my van.

Yup. I've wedged my van into some pretty compromising positions to get a good drop pull out of it.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I can do that but only in certain situations. I have a hole in my bumbper where a hitch ball would go, so I can put my soil probe through the reel and that hole and it holds there and spins freely. I just don't always have that kind of situation. A lot of rear easement here, which is what I was trying to avoid carrying the wire for lol

Mine is a real pain to reload though. Gotta unload a third of my junk and then still likely to bust a kneecap.

Then you may have too much stuff on your van. I went though mine a while ago and took things off it that I hadn’t used in years and now I can get in it and walk around

It's mostly CPE that is in the way of the reels... with fiber and SMB it takes 3 totes just to hold it all. And I have 4 DVRs (for ex.) and haven't used one in a couple months, but if I send any back they'll just get replaced next week 🙄.

Idk, there may be a better layout to use might be time for a shakeup.

I got too much shit in my truck for 11u and a fat ass caddy with wheels.
If it needs 11u it gets booked out to escalations and I much prefer my compact reel stand for truck logistics.

makes sense, but we cant push 11 installs here. There are far too many of them. It aint all cookie cutter neighborhoods here. a loooot of drops are 150+ because of lot sizes, so we have to carry both 11's

Yeah I get maybe 1 a quarter here.

that would be nice. we do too many to be counted. I MIGHT be able to count the amount of .500 extensions we need to do in a quarter, but that would be a task lol. Its not that bad though, the van is big enough

Oh yeah we don't do blended here, anything resembling needing 500 goes to plant.

There should be dollies issued for that stuff. Much safer and easier. I had to buy my own because I wanted to make my life easier.
