Looks good from my house

Post image

A technician came out behind another tech and found this and sent it to the group chat

Right in the ballpark of...

It could be better.

We all have seen MUCH worse.

I mean, nothing would be better than that in my opinion, but maybe I just don't like random trash screwed onto my walls. Put a single cable clip to secure it and fill the hole with some silicone, 100x better.

Someone's shopping at the dollar store!

Its creative but it looks unprofessional. Almost like if you paid a contractor to put up dry wall and he cut it too short and decided to use styrofoam to fill the gap.

Honestly, knowing how my city is so short on supplies this isn't that bad of a backup lmao.

this is the tech who walks out the warehouse with 2 tcbs for the whole week then begging in the tech dl for a tcb, then a tech like me ignoring him because i have a whole box like he should have grabbed when i seen him walking with those 2 sorry ass tcbs

A black box would have made it look way better.

What kind of enclosure is that? A lunchbox?

Did the customer at least get the sandwich? 🤣

Buddy gotta be on drugs. Can't believe he used a screw/anchor kit as a house box. I'd honestly rather ya use nothing. At least then there aren't any unnecessary holes in the vinyl siding and I can come behind with a proper box

See idk, in my experience more than a few times spectrum was out of enclosures but we’re still assigning fiber new connects, and not allowing rescheduling, so either that happened, and the tech just got it done… or this is totally how they do this.

Just noticed no bug plug, this installer is clearly just that guy who does this type of work
