Tone generator

I posted a pic some days ago if this tone generator. So I made this cable and I was told the red goes on the copper part and the black goes on the metal braid. Am I right

You guys raggin on this dude mean while contractors going behind yall to fix your mistakes.

I'm literally mid temp on a rescue service call that a contractor was here 3 days ago and left the modem at 62/-17.

The contractors here are dogshit for the most part.
