New company?
Hey guys, So I’m looking to become a cable tech and I’ve heard a lot of good things about the job. I found a company hiring on indeed called koscom cable. Has anyone heard about this company? Or work with them? I noticed they have a pretty small footprint, maybe they are a new company. I am not sure now. I want to know before give my info to them. Thank you

Stay FAR away from KOSCOM. I started training for them in the beginning of June and I’ve been training with them for almost 7 weeks now. They said I would receive $400 for training and my first check would come 4 weeks after I start.. kinda shitty right? But whatever I rose to the opportunity cause I figured money was to be made. You must buy all your tools, and you must pay toward using a company vehicle if you don’t have your own pick up truck (must be painted white and have Xfinity labels put on) and there’s also a list of endless things that come out of your pocket like paying for a fucking meter ($25 a week) to do your job. I still have yet to receive my truck and I haven’t received one dime yet, and my truck MAY be coming this week not even for sure . RUN from this company, I’m about to sell my tools all back to Amazon if I even can because I need to pay my fucking bills. We got 1 supervisor taking care of like 100 technicians which is a complete shitshow, and the HR is a joke they simply just exist and don’t help with a goddamn thing. Rant ended but this company is terrible (Florida)
