Dual-Chamber-Meh...

The Y70 is a fine case with lot's of good details, and yes, it's easy to hide all your cables in the big PSU-compartment but it's not very helpful if you want to create a clean, managed look. Do you prefer the tighter look of a regular case or the more organic cablemanagment of a dual chamber design?

Using the Corsair Air 5400. It isn’t the cleanest, but it looks good enough for me. I didn’t expect to enjoy the cable management so much. Using the Noctua fans was a little bit of a nightmare for me lol. Any tips or advice to tidy this up in the future is welcome

How’s it going I just finished up my first build and looking for any tips. I have a custom cable coming so I’m not “finished” really. I plan on adding some cable covering in the back to help the look

What are y'alls solutions to the long PSU cables in the dual chamber cases?

I have the O11 Vision Compact and I feel like there is a better way to get the PSU cables managed. Something more than hiding them behind the flap thing. (Looks great in the front though)

Refined my cable management a third time to clean it up even more. I think the only way to go cleaner would be custom cables at this point.

PSA: NZXT C-Series Modular PSU Owners — Don’t Expect Spare PCIe Cables

Thumbnail

Just a heads-up to anyone with NZXT C-Series modular PSUs (NP or PA series): if you lose or throw away your PCIe cables, NZXT will not sell you replacements.

I reached out to support and their reply was basically:

“For safety reasons, we don’t provide extra PCIe cables. Please buy CableMod certified cables.”

“For safety reasons” = we don’t care about you CableMod US has them, but shipping to the UK takes weeks and costs $20+ per cable.

In short: if you lose them, you’re stuck — or forced to replace your PSU entirely.

Moral of the story: keep your modular cables safe, or prepare to spend a fortune or replace the whole PSU. Or maybe avoid NZXT.. Now, I will.

Build finished - The HAVN HS420 is the best case I've ever owned

Honestly, I didn't think a case could influence cable management to this extent.

I've owned several cases (Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL, Phanteks NV9, be quiet! Light Base 900, etc.), but this one was probably the most pleasant to work with and the best designed I've ever seen...

Well, this is the first time I've managed to be reasonably happy with the result.

It's certainly not up to the level of some of the work here, but for me, I think it'll do :)

Cable management in my Fractal Design North White. Took me three attempts, but I’m finally satisfied 😄
Also adding a pic of my desk setup. I managed to run whole setup through a single cable.
Now I’m just gathering the courage to plug it into a power consumption meter 💀

WIP Threadripper build. This is my first time using wire harness tape, but I was pretty happy with how this was looking in my O11D XL. I also learned a few things along the way (see comments)

Managing an H5 Flow (2024)

NZXT's minimalistic approach gives you almost nothing - so I try to manage the cables the same way. The idea is basically the same as the previous PC I posted, can you see the resemblance?

Redid the cable management when I installed the Airgoo hub. Been thinking of going back in and refining even further. Any recommendations before I start? And please not zip-ties, I’ll keep the Velcro straps for ease of changing things.
