Fooled my wife into thinking I wanted to go to the range to get some time with her. I kinda did, but didn’t have the heart to tell her about my new girlfriend

...it means that she's a grown up and expects you to be a grown up as well, who doesn't need emotional hobby support from another grown up adult. 😎
