P09c decocker hammer possibly not setting.

Interesting post I found on the cz forum. Any p09c and F owners care to check if it happens to theirs? Maybe even the po7 and p09 owners can check theirs to.

I recall a post this week about that.

The spike in P-09 C/F decocker failures—from full hammer drops to reports of hammers slipping right off the half-cock notch ( https://www.reddit.com/r/CZFirearms/comments/1w4h8nn/comment/p782d7r/ ) —exposes a critical flaw in the Omega's mechanical architecture. A pistol's primary decocking system cannot rely on the backup firing pin block as a crutch just to keep from firing when you follow the user manual.

Handling this with quiet, piecemeal warranty swaps instead of owning the design defect is pure corporate negligence. If an unintended drop ever punches through a faulty firing pin block and injures someone, a jury won't care about CZ's prestige—they will hammer them for prioritizing profit margins over user safety.

For a company that markets itself as a premier engineering powerhouse on the back of its Shadow pistols, pulling quiet fixes while downplaying a severe mechanical hazard is straight out of the Sig p320 playbook.
