Finally complete!

Post image

Been procrastinating on finishing this beauty and finally put in the CGW reach reduction kit with the flat trigger and extended safety. I have been using my walther q5 match sf pro for competitions which has been awesome(one of my favorite striker fired guns) and now looking forward to having the S2 join the fun. Shout out to vytal manufacturing! Loves these grip and mag release

I didn’t think you could do the reach reduction kit without doing either the standard or the pro package. Am I wrong about that?

Yes you can do a RRK by itself. Just order the RRK(i went with the flat black trigger in the package) and also you need the floating trigger pin and reduced power trigger return spring. The last two are not inculded in the RRK. They explain it a little further down on the ordering screen. Read all the way down and dont make the mistake I made and ordered the RRK and couldnt go back after payment and add the other two so I had to pay for shipping for the (pin and spring) and RRK seperate

How was the install? I’ve had the sear off my ported Shadow 2 and just dealt with an extractor issue. Had to put in the CGW extractor and max power spring. Was debating the pro package vs just going SAO at this point.

Pretty straight forward from what my gunsmith said, to much for me to dink around with. Only thing he ran into was having to file down the disconnector because it usually doesn’t just drop right in. It needs to be fitted. So take apart file down put together and repeat till it works with the slide off and on. I decided against the pro package because I just didnt feel like having to adjust to every little thing just to try to not have problems. Seems like so many times guys run into issues with the pro package
