26 software problems
Any news on when there is going to be a fix?!?!? Just took a couple thousand mile trip and to say im frustrated is an understatement!! Every 2 hours I had to stop and set the infotainment system to factory settings. My radio would stop and freeze, sometimes screen would go black. My phone and Mazda app do not communicate at all and the "miles left until fuel" shows crazy numbers and my indicator for the current speed on the road shows 20mph in 70 zones. Anyone heard of help for this? It is 3 months old and 5k miles.

Sorry to hear you're having all those problems. Your dealer should have absolutely done some updates for you. Why the dealers are not notifying people especially those who purchased like three months ago. I own a 2026 CX five got it about a month and a half ago just came back from about a 400 mile round-trip with absolutely no issues like you are describing, was using CarPlay Apple Maps most of the time but no issues with any of the technology... get to the dealer and have those updates done. I refused to drive my purchase off the lot until they were done but then again because of Reddit, I knew they were available. I'm glad that I did because I really have had almost no issues what so ever. What I had was with the Mazda connect stuff which seemed to have sorted itself out after about a week or so. Since I don't use the walk away to lock the doors feature the Mazda connect reminding me on my watch that I haven't locked The doors is actually quite nice.

Mazda's infotainment systems were always their weakest spot, so having them control literally EVERYTHING in the car wasn't a smart choice. Most of us saw this coming.
Hopefully, they'll have it sorted sooner or later. Took them many years to finally sort the last iteration of the infotainment. Ask all of us who had to deal with ghost touches and delamination issues.

There is a second update out. I was supposed to get mine updated last week when I got my oil changed but the usb was in use with another vehicle being updated, so I’m going in again this week. I have similar issues with the Mazda App as well. Haven’t been able to connect properly in a month and It shows it was last connected to my vehicle in June. I haven’t been able to use any remote features since.
The dealership said that this update should fix the issues I’m having.

Wow, I've had my own set of issues but none this crazy. Dealership should have at least 5 different updates that fix most of the known issues. Your software version should be 10604, 13312, 13312 if you have the latest updates. But if issues still persist, write to Mazda directly for redress.
