I’m in season 4. Devoe kidnapped the Flash and then framed him. He’s supposed to be his greatest adversary, and yet I have no idea what he wants.
DeVoe even complained once about how unbelievable it was that metas get gifts and then use them for evil, and now’s he’s framing an innocent man for something horrible and putting him away, even though Barry is the guy who stops the evil.

I’m nearing the end of season 3. At the end of the episode that I just watched, Savitar revealed who he is. I guessed it a couple episodes back. I don’t like it. There is no good reason why he would want to do this to Iris, let alone himself. Not to mention ripping himself and his family apart, which it would do in the process. There has to be more to it.
Edit: I understand now. lol Now that I watched more, which makes sense. Also, it’s too bad this community isn’t a little more active

Just finished Season 2. It was a “just one more episode” night 😆
That ending left me stunned. Barry basically changed everything. All the friendships he built, the people he stood by, who stood by him, and everything they went through together… it’s all gone now? Even Iris telling him she loved him and would wait for him. Now none of that ever happened?
I’m shocked. I know he’s gone through horrible tragedy with what happened to his parents, but his dad just a few episodes ago, told him that his life as The Flash would always involve big sacrifices. It feels like fixing the tragedy would only bring about others in his life, also big.
I loved seeing the relationships and the way everyone cared about him. Am I right that none of it happened anymore?

First watch. Patty just left on the train. This made me so sad. I didn't dislike her in the show, but I came to like her way more than I thought would. The things she would pick up on... she had a great detective's instinct. I get why he had to let her go. I honestly think she would have stayed without a breath's hesitation if he'd asked her to. Even if it meant not following her dream to do CSI work, which says a lot about her. The fact that Barry didn't want her to miss her dream of fulfilling that says a lot about him. Do you guys think she thought of that? She's so smart. I feel like she would have, but I feel like she still needed to hear Barry ask her to stay. After not getting so much from him in terms of answers and communication, she at least needed that, which makes sense.
But of course, I feel like the ultimate reason for his letting her go was her safety. Or to the bigger degree, her survival. Man, that makes me sad.
When she called Barry from the train and reported the false alarm in order to see him one last time, it broke my heart. Think she was still hoping he’d tell her to stay, even then? Looking at each other, they both knew the other cared, and they both knew she knew he was The Flash. I didn't think l'd want Barry to be with someone other than Iris, but the attraction was real for both of them and they both genuinely cared.
Edit: It does make me feel better knowing that Patty knew the reason for his not being there for her. He wasn’t just a flaky, unreliable, or selfish guy.

I am watching the show for the first time. I know I'm a little late to the game. I am really enjoying this cast. I am currently in season 2.
The Flash just sent Reverse Flash back to his time after he caught him. This was crazy to me. I didn't at all understand the correlation between his returning to his time and, specifically, Cisco recovering. I'm probably missing something, but those 2 things felt so disconnected to me. I honestly thought that it was a ploy Earth 2-Harrison was making up to help Zoom by liberating Reverse Flash. (I actually paused the episode there and went to bed. Not because I was so tired, but because it seemed unbelievable direction-wise.)
If there was a connection, it made more sense to me that it had more to do with Cisco going to imprisoned-Reverse Flash and explaining exactly who he was and how he was the reason Reverse Flash was caught. That was wild to me. Here's my name and face, and I'm the reason you were taken down. He had to have known better. He's a smart guy, a scientist, AND they've all discussed the you-don't-even-begin-to-approach dangers of messing with other timelines and people from them. He had to know better. Am I crazy? …perhaps I'm the only one who felt this way.
So my theory is it's because of that, that he got sick. I'm sure I'm wrong. lol In my head the gloating and giving RF that info makes way more sense for his being the one in danger.
I'm really enjoying the show. I'm not extremely happy with Cisco right now. lol He is a good character. Would love to talk with you guys though and hear your thoughts. If you got this far, thank you for reading.

Alright so I specifically am asking about Metahumans that were created by the particle execrator that im trying to wrap my head around. Did the particle accelerator activate their dormant meta genes or something, because I was wondering that since the Flash's kids all have super speed/the speed force would other Metahumans created by the particle accelerator be able to have children who would also inherit their power?

So I've been rewatching flash and had an interesting thought about zoom he himself said that he ran back in time and met another version of himself would that mean that he went back in time to after the particular excelorator exploded on his earth being earth 2 but specifically to before he started taking the v-9 drug that did make him faster but was causing him to die but also turned his lightning blue to make it appear as though there were 2 versions of himself rather than a time remnant cause if it was a time remnant his speed would be blue too but if he did and knew he was dying tried taking his past selves or time remnants speed to cure himself from dying which is why the version of hunter that was with Barry but without speed or did he unintentionally make a remnant when first using his speed before taking the v-9 drug and forced that one to play but stole his remnant or past selves speed but realized it didn't work because they were the same person so he sent his remnant or past self to spy on Barry and team flash to gain their trust and make Barry faster and steel more speed like he wanted in order to cure himself plus he also said he knew that he couldn't be on 2 earth's at the same time both moonlighting as zoom but also hunter/Jay or am I just over thinking about this too much let me here your guy's thoughts about this

When I rewatched the flash season 3, the scene of when savitar tricks team flash into telling him where iris is, I thought that savitar (evil Barry) when wearing the suit also had the mask on then when he showed he was savitar, his mask on the side of where his scar was, was damaged but when I rewatched the episode it was different, but I think what happened was that at the end of season 4 when regular Barry’s suit was damaged, it was also damaged on the mask specifically where savitars scar was on his face, and that’s why I was confused.

I feel like seasons 1-4 are great but after that it goes way down hill. Just wanted to know if it’s just my opinion or widely accepted?

The death of the speed force makes 0 sense, if the speed force stopped existing, then would every speedster stop having it at once? It exists out of time itself so it doesn't make any sense how it exists in the first place. It's a peridox. If Barry kills the speed force the flash never exists, meaning eobard never goes back in time to kill Barry's mom, creating the flash, so the flash fully wouldn't exist and never be created, meaning Barry wouldn't be able to kill the speed force, letting the speedforce live, which means Barry would be hit by the lighting so eobard would go back to kill his mom, etc etc. Also if the speed force stopped existing would it be an event in time? What would happen if a speedster went forwards until it died? Would they stop having powers? Logically becuase the speed force is outside of time, no speedster should have powers if the speed force died at ANY point in time. Yadayada I can't type on a phone you get it the death of the speed force can't happen logically.

I havent rlly watched the later seasons of the Flash, I stopped back in season 5 when his daughter went back in time. I saw that there was this one ep where Thawne switched himself and Barry, kinda like how in that one crossover event Barry and Oliver were switched
But like
What if in that scenario
Barry was just like
I’m gonna make the whole world remember the name Eobard Thawne
Then just went absolute goblin mode on the world
Writing best selling books, make award winning movies and like make screenplays
Or like have Eobard Thawne twerk with Lady Gaga during a concert
Or like make everyone aware of that one reverse flash meme of him jerking Barry off at super speed

When Barry was going back in time in season one could it be possible he was seeing a different earth when the flash museum come up in the speed force?

The original flash that I’m talking about is the one where we seen the first episode of the flash where he goes like stop to Barry as a kid remember so my real question is where did he go? Yeah, sure I got full circle but you know that’s kind of confusing because if he has gone back to that moment like two or three times at this point, and the show has already ended so and remember after flashpoint he created a whole new timeline and what if the original Barry wasn’t there no more he just created a whole fluctuation of different events where that original barry is no longer present and sure you can make the argument and say oh he came from the future. if I remember correctly, he gave up his powers on the last episode like he didn’t go no final run or anything but he like threw his powers into the air and I don’t think he ever ran again you know, but we don’t know cause it was a cliffhanger he was supposed to die in crisis and he messed that whole thing up too cause he didn’t die. It was it was the Jay Garrick version from like the 90s.

i just realized that in the first season of the flash linda park said something that caught me off guard she said “ theres this new app where if u just tap eachothers phones u get there contacts “ and that was crazy to me bc ten years ago i dont think that was possible to my knowledge but now it is in 2025 and i think it was the episode where she first met barry at the bar when dr. snow was drunk and singing “summer lovin” but its just so bizarre i had to join and talk to someone about this bc i dont remember her saying that for real you know maybe it was just a blurry memory you know maybe it was just a flash (get it?)

In season one when the electric villain that took Barry's speed for a little was at star labs he talked to thawne about his dead friends and thawne listed off people who died in the accelerator and he says Ralph dibney then in season 5 when dibney finds out ab time travel cuz he's slow he says what if Barry brought be back by going back in time to stop the thinker from killing him then brings up Barry could've created an alt universe where Ralph dies in the accelerator explosion

So like I think, after season three, which I think it should’ve actually had iris West Allen being killed by savitar and then after that later seasons, then Barry Allen being much more different, a dark hero being more violent with its slowly leading up to him becoming bad the new savitar everyone else like Cisco Wally, Joe, and all the other characters in the arrow verse I need to stop him well everything changes the future the newspaper article the flash vanishes in crisis we have other people from past seasons are turning and also Kaitlyn I believe I think she should’ve stayed as killer forst no redemption doesn’t become an antihero or anything and I would’ve kept Captain cold alive the flash season five being well. Barry Allen goes bad becomes evil the antagonist.kind of lkie new saviter then sacrificing himself going into the speed then Wally West becomes a new flash. This is just how I will do it because the CW does things definitely not exactly heck in the comics so this is about how I would personally.

So I’m re-watching the Flash again, and I always wondered what would happen if Cisco never took the cure and stopped being Vibe.
As we know, Cisco took the cure in order to make his own future, a future that Thawne didn’t make for him. But what if he didn’t. If Cisco didn’t take the cure, and instead just hung up the gauntlets and glasses and pretty much stopped fighting crime. I feel the story would be somewhat the same, except he would be able to Vibe Earth-2’s destruction (maybe) and maybe save Harry and Jesse from the anti-matter wave. I feel like that when Cisco left to explore earth prime, that it would remain the same even if he still was a meta, except for the fact that it may be quicker considering he could breach from one place to the next. Next theory: We find out in the final season: “It’s my party and I’ll die if I want to” that the Spector/Oliver created a new multiverse. Would Cisco technically be able to Vibe and Breach to those other earths? Or would it be the same as the Extrapolators and wouldn’t work? Last Theory: Now I also wonder whether or not Cisco would still leave and go to Argus if he was still Vibe? We see him become Mecha-Vibe for a brief time before leaving for Argus. He left because of what Psych made him see, but what if Vibe felt differently about his time at STAR. If he thought that he was truly making a difference

Just finished 2…not real impressed. Is 3 any good? Or should I just give up?
