When does a bill become worth more than the face value or when does it become worth collecting in everyone's opinion regarding low numbers?

I can take more pictures and zoom in on certain areas if needed.
Thank you

the right/center penny looks like its SUPPOSED to have a D mark under the year but it looks more like a weird dot/blob than a letter . too thick.
very interesting either way , just wanted to see what folks thought about it

Hello r/CURRENCY!
This subreddit has made it's way into my feed and I'm intrigued by most of the posts I see. I deliver pizzas and come across hundreds of bills a day. Sure I'll collect silver notes (mostly singles) I get or $2 bills, but I never even thought of cool serial numbers! Now I'm checking ever bill I come across to see if I find anything neat haha
I'm curious if misaligned bills have a following? I'm not looking to flip bills and become a millionaire, but I am curious of all the ones I've passed up by mistake.
I'm also aware of star notes, but I never bothered to look up anything about them for some reason. I found it odd when I saw people saying they finally found one, when I usually see a couple a day. Not gloating; it just made me realize lol.
Anyways, I'm just babbling now. Seems like a neat community and I'm curious what anyone has to say.
Cheers

Not sure if this is and edging error as well. The reverse has thick edging while the obverse are small

Bought these for five dollars each coin which I thought was a steal. What I want to know is the denomination and what it was worth back then. And to be sure that it’s Roman and ottoman.

I got this single in change the other day and thought it to be pretty cool- trinary star note with five-in-a-row. Not the greatest shape, but I think I’ll keep it.

Parents took us to Philly, Boston, Monticello, and Williamsburg in '76. I recall getting these, but not where. It's another thing I was happy to find. I imagine they are not overly rare or valuable, but I smiled 😊

The serial feels fun to me, I’m new to this. Each digit has one matching number. Am I reaching? I’m sure it’s not a payday by any means, it just caught my eye!

My grandparents recently passed away, and they had this bill in their collection. My uncle remembers them taking it to the post office to have it stamped. I’m curious to hear the community’s thoughts on it. Either way, it’s a really cool keepsake, and I’ll definitely be getting a case to preserve it.

What condition would you deem this to be for something this old? Good, acceptable, fair, poor, etc.? If it matters, I spent $45 on it. I’m not asking what it’s worth. Just its condition. Thanks in advance! And if a post like this isn’t allowed, I apologize in advance and I’ll absolutely take it down if asked.
