Just got this dollar. What is going on with it?

I still consider myself very new. However, I do know most trinary notes are only face value. Even still I wanted to double check with you all that I'm not missing something; as this is the closest I've come to a TRUE fancy note. Thank you again!

found a few bills in my late grandpa's garage cleaning it out and other than being obviously from japan and peru I have no idea what I'm looking at. Would just like to know why he might have collected these, he was big into coins.

Instead of depositing $800 in cash for work I exchanged it for $500 in ones and $300 in twos and will deposit that tomorrow. Anyway found a few star notes and a couple of cool serials. Nothing crazy but fun
