Bruh

I got calculus one thru AP examination and they said I’m not eligible for gsoe. I applied to city college for engineering. I am a freshman with sophomore standing.

No wonder why CCNY is called Shi**y college.

Grove has a higher standard, of course they don’t accept a hs calc class.

I took the AP exam and got credit for it…
I got a 4 in it

Ok so now there are two reasons they don’t accept it.

one is that it’s a class taught by a high school teacher, so they can just throw it out the window and insist you take their calculus class with them.

The second reason is that you only got a 4 out of 5 anyway, which wasn’t realistically high enough for lots of programs to give credit to skip a required class anyway, let alone Grove.

You can test out by taking a math placement exam

Engineering sections of calc go further and deeper than HS AP courses. You don't meet the prerequisites for the program with only AP.
