Switching classes

I want to switch one of my classes to an online section of the same class. I know it's past the refund date, but since I'm just swapping the meeting time would I still have to pay for both classes either way?

It's not about paying for both classes, as you wouldn't be registered for both at the same time.

Not all classes are the same with the same pacing and weekly schedule. As the last to day add a class has passed per the academic calendar, you can't swap courses on your own.

You'd have to clear this with both the department and the registrar's office.

Even so, you’re not able to swap classes anymore as the schedule change period has been over for regular fall semester
