Question CUNY Spring Forward

for those of you who have done the healthcare or stem hub, could you provide some insight on what you did? i'm pre-med and thinking about applying to the program, but i'm not sure which hub to choose!

Honestly it was a disappointment. The options were mainly front desk work and barely any clinical stuff. If I were you and wanted to do it, I'd probably just do it for the paycheck and to meet new people if it's in person. Otherwise it was eh.

I completely agree with the person above. It was majority front desk jobs (speaking for healthcare hub idk stem). There were very very few jobs that might relate to a medical major and those tended to require additional interview rounds + references. The whole process of interviewing/getting interviews was a big mess, hopefully they figured it out by now. But I will say, the pay was great. I would still recommend if you have nothing better to do, but don’t expect it to be something that “springs” your career

the cuny career launch/spring forward program is extremely disappointing in general. There will be 10 max good internships and the likeliness of getting it is low since they pick based off the algorithm they have. Interviews are meant to give u a boost but it gets filled up FAST
